Getting started

The sailing is under the management of the Bembridge Sailing Club so all BODA sailors must be members of the BSC. This is for safety and insurance purposes.

All helms need to ‘sign on’ at the start of the season and are expected to have the knowledge, ability and competence necessary to pass the UK ICC examination (International Certificate for Operation of Pleasure Craft) or equivalent.
